The family is a long established producer of olive oil, “Olio dei cinque Paoli” named after the 5 Paoli (currency at the time) incentive given by Pope Pius VIII Castiglioni for each new olive tree planted. Today, the Family farm, entirely organic, produces two types of oil: a multi-blend made from Leccino, Muragliolo, and Orbetana varieties, and a single-blend oil made from Mignola, a native olive from centuries-old trees.
